Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than ten seasons. She was a member as captain of the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman is one of the gymnasts from the United USA who took gold in the 2012 Olympics. This made her an the only American gymnast at the Olympics to win the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team event, which gave her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having been the first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. She also won two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. In between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American squads at two World Championships. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly contributes towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing a career as a designer. Her future goals include the expansion of her signature collection of leotards. Fierce is a book that is due out later in the year.
